Nathalie
Buschor
Psychotherapist, Coach, and Family Manager
I know the balancing act between career, family, and partnership – with a teenager at home, a long-term relationship, and even a pet. I understand what it means to be pulled in many directions – and how important it is to set priorities and accept support.
A natural talent? Not at all. I grow through my own challenges – and it is exactly this lived experience that I bring into my work as a psychotherapist and coach in Zurich.

Facing Crises, gaining Clarity – My Path to Psychotherapy
No sudden enlightenment – but a life well lived
Self-care, serenity, and a modest talent for happiness – all of this is the result of countless detours, crises, and stubborn persistence. From the outside, it often looked easier than it really was.
I grew up as the eldest of four children in a Zurich suburb – well-behaved, shy, terrible at sports, and longing for the world beyond. Studies, career, travel: ambitious, successful, but often ruthless with myself. The unfulfilled wish for a child was a painful time that shaped me deeply. In my late thirties, I became a mother – a miracle and a turning point. Suddenly, knowledge and preparation weren’t enough – what was needed was intuition and patience.
Today I live amidst teenage chaos, menopause, and midlife questions – an explosive mix that keeps teaching me to let go, to rearrange, and to rise again. Good enough is great. What sustains me: the joy of learning, people, books, conversations, and meditation.
What I share today, I have lived myself – in work, in relationships, in parenthood, and in crisis. I bring clarity, depth, warmth – and the courage not to be perfect.
In my work, I unite both: analytical clarity and psychological depth. Everything I recommend, I have lived and tested myself – in my profession, in my marriage, as a mother, and as a human being in everyday life.

How I Work
My motto: Helping you help yourself – integrative, practical, and empowering.
Therapy should make a difference in everyday life. For me, clarity, feasibility, and a solution-focused approach are essential. As a psychotherapist, I work with evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Analytical Psychology – combined with mindfulness practices inspired by Zen and Buddhism. With empathy and a fine sense for your resources, I support your personal growth.
My goal: that you leave each session feeling stronger, clearer, and ready to move forward with confidence.
Reflective, clear, and attuned – with a touch of humor
As a counselor, I work with clarity and structure, while staying sensitive to what is felt and said between the lines. Together, we explore new paths and fresh perspectives that carry you forward – with heart, mind, and a good sense of humor. I focus on your strengths, talents, and inner resources – everything that supports you.
My goal is to help you find solutions that are not only effective, but also sustainable – in everyday life, in your family, and in your relationships.
Depth over Surface – Therapy at Your Own Pace
When life feels overwhelming, exhausting, or simply empty, it can be powerful to turn inward. I focus on what truly matters: your strengths, talents, and inner clarity. Together we explore what sustains you – your roots, your current environment, and the challenges you face in the here and now.
Learning and growing at your, pace step by step, we create space for growth, resilience, and a more meaningful life.
What Else Drives Me
Alongside my work as a psychotherapist and coach in Zurich, I teach on leadership, positive psychology, and personal development – and I love to inspire people through meaningful stories. Books are my constant companions.
Mindfulness and presence are essential to me – a counterbalance to the speed of our times and my own drive for achievement. For many years, I have practiced Zen meditation and Buddhist psychology. Currently, I am deepening this path through training as a Chanmigong teacher, while also continuing to explore sports, nutrition, and health. And I closely follow everything that happens in the field of Longevity and Happiness Research – bringing fresh insights into my life and my work.
